This weekend seen the famous HMS Bounty ship (otherwise known as the Black Pearl from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies) dock at Derry’s quay. I went over to take a few snaps while it was here. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great.

These rather cool images appeared on Digg within the last few days, and they’re so impressive I thought I’d post them up here! They also make a damn nice desktop background.

So for the past two weeks, the majority of people in our street have been being awakened by the calls of these guys:

We have no idea where they came from, but it looks like they’ve found comfort in awakening us all at 4am, which isn’t a good thing when you stay up until 3am playing video games.

Well, I’ve decided to change a blog to something I have more control over. So here it is! The old blog can still be found here, and it will be kept online for purely historical purposes… I hope to be updating this blog more frequently than the previous, now that my exams are finished.
